"Eleventh Wonder" is doing a mural...

Street artist "Eleventh Wonder" is doing a mural on a fence along 28th St. and 3rd Avenue.  He is helping the neighborhood out which has had graffiti problems on the fence by putting up a piece mural on the fence.
Past attempts have shown that a respectable artist doing such leads to graffiti not being put on the space these murals are done.

Bee–Fore and Aft

You can see the old "Three Bee'z" sign from the Greenway, at Nicollet.
The other side is for the current restaurant-- Pho' Tau Bay--which makes the best Vietnamese noodle salads.

White Horse

I would love to learn the story of how and why this horse, seemingly from a child's toy, was put on top of this fence.

Fall Clean Up

Minneapolis City workers sweep up the leaves from the streets to keep them from going into the stormsewer, and therefore, from going into our lakes and the Mississippi River, where they would add overwhelming anounts of organic matter.

It wraps around the corner of the wall:

Milkweed

The milkweed seeds' silky flying apparatus is called pappus, from the Ancient Greek word pappos, meaning "old man".

Frosting The Black Forest Cherry Torte

Inside the Black Forest Inn:  Dannielle lathers on the cream cheese iceing and then adds decorative swirls of whipped cream to the Chocolate Torte: it's their "version of Schwartzwalder Kirschtorte with four layers of chocolate cake with cream cheese filling & kirsch-flavored cherries between the layers, topped with fresh whipped cream," to quote from the menu.
