Some days you just need a brightly-colored, fizzy drink.

First Snow!
A few random flakes fell earlier this November, but this is the first white ground. I've lent my camera to Marz, who is her visiting family in Oregon, so I ran outside with my laptop, here at Bob's Java Hut, to record it.
I didn't realize the computer would catch me too, out of the corner of its eye.

Your Thoughts Take Shape Through Snow
This morning, the window of Bob's Java Hut puts me in mind of the opening lines of Louis MacNeice's poem "Snow":
The room was suddenly rich and the great bay
-window was
Spawning snow and pink roses against it
Soundlessly collateral and incompatible:
World is suddener than we fancy it.

17. Your Staff
We, the original founders of this blog, met at Bob's Java Hut (Lyndale & 27th) to order "free" business cards for this project, which ended up costing us $11.44.
