Ghost Roses

Family and friends continue to leave flowers on the corner of 26th Street and Blaisdell Ave., where a police car speeding to an emergency struck and killed a motorcyclist.

You can see the roots of the big tree on this corner that was blown down in a summer storm.

 Blood Root
Sharp-lobed Hepatica
The spring emphemeral flowers bloom in their native habitat in the forest before the leaves come out.  You can plant them in your yard, too.

right next to the dumpster.
