First Ave. Laundromat

In answer to Jo Ann's Franklin laundromat photo yesterday, this one on 29th & First Ave. (by the Greenway entrance) also has big curvy pipes on the roof. Perhaps to vent the driers?

Franklin Laundromat

I've never seen a laudromat with pipes sticking out of the roof.  Anyone know exactly what they are for?  The laundromat is at 903 E. Franklin Ave.
