Kids Clear Trees

The city couldn't handle all the downed trees, so these neighborhood kids help a guy with a chain saw to haul away a tree blocking their street.

Kids Play While People Vote

We vote so kids can play (they are riding into the parking area for teachers at the Whittier IB School

   

National Night Out in Whittier

Whittier residents at 27th and Pleasant paint the town on National Night Out.  Some have lived in the neighborhood for a many years, others are brand new.  We talked about previous owners of houses (some are quite old) and how some folks are fixing up their houses.  This is the coolest block!
