Downtown, Night

This is a view from the 35w pedestrian bridge just south of Franklin Avenue.  A cool crisp evening let the lights of downtown shine thru wonderfully.  This is a 40 second exposure at F22.

Full Moon Through Tree

Why are we so fascinated by the moon and other celestial objects?  Sat. morning there will be a lunar eclipse, the second this year.  There won't be another one till 2014.  See Nadine's earlier photo of the moon behind a tree--you inspired me.

Blue Light Special

Have you noticed the building downtown that displays different colors is putting on the prettiest blue light show this fall?
Seen here from Blaisdell Ave. S.

***What's this building's name, anyway?
[Jo Ann says it's the Target Building.]

Rainbow

Former entrance to Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA) on 24th Street (yes, I know it's slanting--it was more interesting that way).

Children's Hospital at night

I love this sculpture, I took some of it last week, I love it when the sun falls on it, and under artificial lighting it is pretty awesome as well. I think this new building is very nice to look at.

Amegos Glass

Amegos Glass, on 29th St, corner of 16th Ave.

Isn't it great that community ends in unity?
